Woman, 43, charged with assault and shoplifting following incident in Chandler’s Ford

A 43-year-old woman from Portsmouth has been charged with assault by beating and shoplifting following an incident at a shop in Chandler’s Ford.

The incident was reported to have occurred at Aldi, Chestnut Avenue at approximately 11.30am yesterday (Monday 10 November).

Charlotte Louise Browne, of Nelson Road, has been charged and bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 10 February 2026.
